“My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero” Celebrates One-Year Anniversary With Multiple In-Game Events
It’s been one year since the release of the hit mobile RPG My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero, and they’re celebrating with a slew of in-game anniversary events – including the release of highly-anticipated new character Suneater (aka Tamaki Hamajiki), gigantic player rewards, and more.
Based on the hugely popular My Hero Academia anime and manga series, My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero has been downloaded more than 13 million times worldwide. When it launched in 2021, it was the number one overall app in the United States the week of launch.
Players can expect the following anniversary celebrations:
- Suneater Limited Time and EX Card Recruit – During the special event, players can recruit the powerful hero Suneater (U.A. high school student Tamaki Amajiki) and use his mighty quirk Manifest to battle any villains that stand in their way. Suneater events run from May 18 – May 31.
- Anniversary Recruit – Players can now create the ultimate hero team through a special anniversary event that allows almost all characters to be recruited! This event runs from May 18 through June 14.
- Anniversary Login Event – All players who log into the game from May 18 to June 14 will earn Daily Anniversary Recruit Tickets. Players will also receive 10 Anniversary Recruit Tickets by in-game mail every Wednesday, claimable through the following week.
- Additional Anniversary Celebrations – Players can enjoy daily events and a new game mode that unlocks an exclusive Title, in addition to a new idle AFK game mode that can be played for big rewards. Players can also expect an anniversary token exchange event where players can trade in tokens for prizes. These events will run from May 18 through June 14.
