Lightbulb Film Distribution is ready to release the neo-western post-apocalyptic zombie horror film Forgive Us All come October 13, 2025.

Directed and co-written by Jordana Scott, Forgive Us All stars Lily Sullivan (Evil Dead Rise), Callan Mulvey, and Richard Roxburgh. The movie focuses on a pair of survivors in an isolated area experiencing a whole lot of trouble when they find themselves encountering a fugitive being chased by dangerous agents. Of course, the fictional story takes place in a world that has undergone a drastic change due to a zombie outbreak that occured 4 years ago.

The narrative explores themes of loss, loyalty, faith, and self-worth (amongst others) as lead character Rory (Sullivan) decides to help the fugitive Noah deliver a vaccine to a person in dire need.

Judging from the promotional material, I like how Forgive Us All is giving me The Walking Dead/Fear the Walking Dead vibes due to the neo-Western setting with the undead. I also like the narrative’s focus on a female perspective of loss and tragedy, something we don’t get to see a whole lot of in post-apocalyptic fare. I mean, we all know most such stories have the man going through the emotional turmoil of losing his wife and children.

The project was shot entirely in Queenstown, New Zealand, with a production budget of $10 million. Take note that Forgive Us All will have its UK premiere at genre-festival Grimmfest in Manchester on October 11, 2025.

We are thrilled to be bringing Forgive Us All to audiences in the UK & Ireland. We were blown away by the cinematography and the zombie sequences. It’s a story of hope and redemption in a world gone dark,” shared Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson.

I liked the trailer. That’s why I’m hoping this indie project will be received positively.

For those interested, Forgive Us All will be available on Digital and DVD come October 13, 2025.

I might check it out.

How about you?
