Fans of the latest DC Metal Force animated series can now add official toy collectibles from the franchise thanks to Spin Master. The line includes Batman, Superman, Brainiac, The Joker, and more!

Spin Master is on the roll, opening the new year by already offering collectibles for Batman fans as well as fans of other characters from DC Comics. I recently talked about the Target-exclusive retro collectible line celebrating the 30th anniversary of the live-action Batman Forever movie.

And now I’m back to talk about even more Dark Knight goodness with the DC Metal Force line that is available right now via Amazon.

For those who might now know, DC Metal Force is a DC Kids’ animated web series that you can currently watch on YouTube. Episode 10 was released on January 11, 2025. It did feel like a season one finale. But I could be wrong. Each episode is approximately 6 minutes long. So, yeah, you can bingewatch it in one sitting if you want to.

Without spoiling the season, let’s just say that the narrative involves the Justice League and a bunch of supervillains, led by Brainiac, wearing cool-looking metal suits complete with a variety of weapons and attacks. I mean, just roll with the concept and have fun instead of side-eyeing the need for OP superheroes like Superman and Wonder Woman feeling the need to wear mech suits. Besides, these characters have worn power suits in comic book canon.

Sticking to the colorful character designs, the DC Metal Force toy collectible line from Spin Master features action figures wearing armored mechs as well as a 2-in-1 transforming playset.

Take note; each figure is accompanied by a unique metal collector card talking about the characters’ backstories and abilities.

Metal Force Armor Attack Action Figures

Going for MSRP $14.99 each and meant for ages 4 and up, we have the Batman and the Joker action figures. These 2-in-1 figures shift from 4-inch mini heroes to mighty 6-inch warriors complete with Metal Force armor. The figures feature built-in blasters and firing projectiles for some creative fight sequences between good and evil.

The armor opening up to fit the action figures is a very cool feature. Also, yes, to articulation keeping intact even with the action figures inside their armor. Also, I wasn’t expecting the metal cards to come with stands. So, yay! I also like how the projectiles are specific to the characters instead of Spin Master using the same mold.

12-Inch Extra Large Metal Force Heroes Action Figures

Another MSRP $14.99 offering, each action figure is 12 inches long and is meant for ages 4 and up. You can select between Batman and Superman figures. Clark’s little curl on his forehead is cute and a nice detail.

There isn’t much articulation with these figures, but that’s to be expected with the 12-inch line.

Metal Force Brainiac vs. Batman Action Figure Pack

Meant for ages 4 and up, this action figure pack will cost you MSRP $19.99 to own a 12-inch Brainiac figure with posable tentacles. The supervillain will need to be stopped by an exclusive 4-inch Batman figure with blaster-launching action.

Batman is so tiny against the gigantic Brainiac figure. I love it!

Also, give my Caped Crusader some backup to take Brainiac down!

Metal Force Transforming Batwing

Of course, there is a playset! The Metal Force Transforming Batwing can be yours for MSRP $24.99. Recommended for ages 4 and up, the 16-inch wingspan Batwing can transform into a Mech Mode robot that stands over a foot tall. Cool!

The playset comes with a projectile launcher and blaster for offensive tactics. Cool!

It also includes 4-inch figures of Batman and Superman. Cool!

I wasn’t expecting the articulated Batman and Superman figures to be able to sit inside the Batwing together. So, yes to that. Also, due to the cross-compatibility of such figures by Spin Master, this means that other 4-inch figures should fit to offer even more creative play sessions.

Spin Master is ready to continue expanding the DC Metal Force collective toy line. Other characters to look forward to include Blue Beetle and Gorilla Grodd.

Now, while I do think that the DC Metal Force collectible toy line from Spin Master is vibrant and cool-looking, I would also like to share a gripe as someone who has watched the animated web series. I’m disappointed to not see any promo images promoting a Wonder Woman action figure. Diana plays a very important role in the animated series, especially during the climax of Justice League vs. Brainiac as well as how her actions impact Technis’ fate. Fingers crossed we get to see a Wonder Woman figure soon.

And yes, I get that Green Lantern and The Flash have also been left out. But Wonder Woman is part of the Trinity. She should be standing right next to Batman and Superman in the toy line.

Talking more about the show, the cast includes Technis (Jake Goldman), Lex Luthor (Charles Halford), Superman and Brainiac (Jason J. Lewis), Wonder Woman (Vanessa Marshall), Blue Beetle (Arnie Pantoja), The Flash and The Joker (Shane Salk), Batman and Gorilla Grodd (JW Stafford), and Green Lantern (Todd Williams).

The show has been Executive Produced by Nick Jennings and Produced by Scott Malchus with Valerio Fabbretti as the Creative Director.

Are you excited about these offerings from the DC Metal Force line? Will you be picking them up?
