“Teen Titans Go!” Season 5 Part 1 DVD Review
Fans of the hilariously enjoyable Teen Titans Go! have more episodes to collect because of the new DVD release. The Teen Titans Go! Season 5 Part 1 DVD is currently available, and it’s a great way to binge-watch some of the best episodes.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.
The Part 1 DVD (2-disc) home release of the animated show’s fifth season picks up after Teen Titans Go! to the Movies and includes a total of 26 episodes for fans to enjoy (with 13 episodes on each disc). The SRP for the DVD set is $18.94.
Here’s the official description:
Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy and Raven continue the excitement in season five of TEEN TITANS GO! with all-new comedic escapades, giving viewers a look at what life is really like as a teen super hero … once the cape comes off. This character-driven comedy — based upon DC characters — focuses on the funny that happens in between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. With epic staring contests to decide who does the laundry, a series of quests and battles to construct the perfect sandwich or fighting crime in Jump City, one thing is for sure — these Titans are always ready for an adventure, inside the house and out.

The running time for this DVD release is 286 minutes. So, that’s a whole lot of quality content to watch. This DVD set has some of my most favorite episodes. Part 1 and 2 of ‘Justice League’s Next Top Talent Idol Star: Second Greatest Team Edition’ are amazing!
The series continues to be meta in its humor; even breaking the fourth wall on occasion. The episode titled ‘The Chaff’ is about getting this series canceled by showing deleted scenes. It’s great.
As for the packaging, it’s your usual DVD fare with artwork at the front and a few more images (as well as the episode list) in the back. I didn’t encounter any issues with the highly colorful visual and audio presentation.
Teen Titans Go! is currently airing its sixth season. As of yet, it has aired 255 episodes. This show is likely not going anywhere and I’m here for it.
The upcoming Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans animated movie will get a Digital release on September 24, 2019, followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release on October 15, 2019.
