Netflix Show “Next In Fashion” To Be Hosted By Alexa Chung & Tan France!
Fans of Tan France (Queer Eye) can look forward to watching more of him when Netflix’s new show Next in Fashion debuts. France will be hosting the series with designer Alexa Chung.
The Geekiary is a fan of Queer Eye. It is nice to see the Fab Five getting more work to share with us. Of course, it is all part of their agenda to take over the world. Ha!
Anyway, Next in Fashion is going to be a competition series. A group of 18 fashion designers will compete in a variety of challenges which will test their creative talents. The winner will be awarded $250,000 as a prize as well as an opportunity to debut their collection with Net-a-Porter (a luxury fashion online retailer).
Netflix is yet to announce the designers taking part in the upcoming series. However, we do know the contestants won’t be amateurs. Each of them will have had experience working for A-list celebrities and brands.
Next in Fashion has been created to help elevate the careers of the contestants. Viewers can look forward to numerous special guest judges including celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart and Instagram’s Eva Chen, who serves as director of fashion partnerships at the social media platform.
The new series will only have 10 episodes. It will be the streaming giant’s first shot at a fashion-centric reality show.
There is already an Instagram account you can follow for updates.
An air date for Next in Fashion is yet to be announced. But, yay for more queer-centric content!
As for Queer Eye, the third season debuted on Netflix on March 15, 2019. The show won the 2019 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program. Fans are waiting for the streaming service to renew the show for a fourth season.
Tan France also has a YouTube channel if you want to watch more of him.
