Teasers for Animal Kingdom season 4 and Claws season 3 have been released. Both shows will return to TNT sometime this year. I can’t wait to watch and review them!

Claws and Animal Kingdom are two of the best shows out there. And if you aren’t watching them, why aren’t you? Get on it!

Both shows feature well-written queer representation, complex female characters, and highly engaging storylines.

Animal Kingdom is about a teenage boy who moves in with his maternal grandmother after the death of his mother. He quickly finds himself learning the ways of his criminal family. Ellen Barkin does an impressive job as the matriarch of the family while her sons and grandson battle for more power. The season three finale was everything, and I can’t wait for this show to return.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the writers continue to handle Deran and Adrian’s troubled relationship.

Here’s the teaser for the fourth season!

The upcoming season has also signed Kelli Berglund as Olivia. Her character has been described as a “pretty, young, wealthy college freshman who shares a statistics class with ‘J’ (Finn Cole) and knows how to charm.”

As for Claws, the show is about a nail salon doubling as a money laundering facility. The cast includes Niecy Nash, Carrie Preston, Harold Perrineau, Jenn Lyon, Judy Reyes, and Karrueche Tran.

Here’s the teaser!

The season two finale ended on a cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to seeing how Desna and her crew sticks together to run a new business. I’m still not a fan of Desna and Roller as a couple though.

Make sure to read my Claws reviews.

I’m very excited!
