FEELINGS Daily: Rose and The Doctor Were Totally a Thing

David Tennant (aka the lost love of my life) told fans at Wizard World Comic Con that Rose was DEFINITELY the Doctor’s girlfriend – well duh – even if they didn’t say it. CELEBRATE or MOURN because that’s about as much official confirmation as you’re going to get. I’m pretty happy about it because I have always been MASSIVE Rose/Doctor shipper PLUS we know it’s going to annoy the crap out of the fanboys and that makes me even happier. Thanks David! Paul Feig feels bad that he’s the go-to guy for female-led comedies. Feig told The Huffington Post at SXSW: “I don’t think it is getting better. It’s not as terrible as it was, but look at the number [of] lady directors. I have guilt that I’m a man doing these movies. Women should be doing them, too! The studios aren’t giving them the opportunity for whatever reason, and the roles still aren’t there for women like they should be.” (via The Mary Sue)

You know what THE WORST thing about this is? That we live in a world where Hollywood only needs ONE director for all the blockbuster female-led comedies. Because the problem is not that Feig is making these movies, but that it is only Paul Feig’s movies that are getting made.

That Twin Peaks sequel we were promised is apparently not as set in stone as we thought. During a Q&A event at the Queensland Performing Arts Center in Brisbane, Australia, on Saturday, David Lynch said that there were complications! DUN DUN DUN! (via The Daily Dot)
