Fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones can look forward to owning the entire series on physical home media later this year to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary. The Game of Thrones – 15th Anniversary: The Complete Collection 4K UHD Limited Edition Library Case will be available on November 3, 2026.

From Warner Bros Discovery Home Entertainment, you can pre-order the Game of Thrones – 15th Anniversary Limited Edition right now. This particular product will get you a numbered steelbook library case containing all 8 live-action seasons (housed in individual, unique steelbooks), bonus content, and more.

Debuting back in June of 2011, the first season of HBO’s Game of Thrones took the world by storm. Of course, the politically heavy storylines, layered characters, action, and nudity played a role in garnering millions of viewers around the globe. However, I still consider GoT’s performance impressive, given that the eight seasons fall within the niche fantasy genre. Regardless of how the final couple of seasons came together (or fell apart, Ha!), it’s a fact that GoT remains an iconic example of small-screen storytelling that many have tried to follow.

For those interested in collecting the physical release of the entire series, the upcoming 15th Anniversary Collection includes:

  • 15th Anniversary Ice & Fire Collection
  • Limited Edition Numbered Steelbook Library Case (4K Ultra HD)
  • 8 Season Steelbooks – Exclusive to this Collection
  • Collectible Booklet

The Over 15 Hours of Bonus Features are:

  • Includes the Two-Part Game of Thrones: Reunion Special, Hosted by Conan O’Brien
  • Game of Thrones: The Last Watch Documentary
  • Conquest & Rebellion: An Animated History of the Seven Kingdoms
  • Audio Commentaries, Deleted Scenes,
  • Behind-the-Scenes Featurettes and More

With season 8 airing the finale on May 19, 2019, the successful IP, based on George R. R. Martin’s books, has continued on HBO. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms spin-off premiered on January 18, 2026, with the season one finale airing on February 22, 2026. The series has been renewed for a second season.

Currently, fans are excited about House of the Dragon season 3 premiering in June of this year. The upcoming season is said to have 8 episodes.

For the big screen, a Game of Thrones movie (working) titled Aegon’s Conquest was recently confirmed as part of WBros’ CinemaCon 2026 presentation. The storyline will follow the original conqueror Aegon I Targaryen, from the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. Written by Beau Willimon (Showrunner of House of Cards and writer on Andor), it’s rumored the movie is looking at a 2028 release date. No casting news has been announced as of the time of writing this piece.

Of course, speculation and rumors about other live-action spinoffs set in the GoT universe continue to occasionally pop up, with certain OG GoT characters linked to some of the projects. However, I found no sense in creating a list of projects that “might” happen. But one thing’s for sure, the GoT IP isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. There’s so much lore to explore while craving new paths for future storytelling, and the demand for more adventures is clearly there.
