Reveal Trailer Debuts For Hardcore Platformer “Luciform” Before Q1 2021 Launch!
Luciform, the new title by Chaos Minds, is ready to debut on Steam in the first quarter of 2021. I love a challenging platformer, and Luciform might just deliver.
According to the press release, Luciform features an “endearing” main character, a lot of colors, and different environments. The game will offer players “intense color-coded platforming” fun. It has been developed by Israeli developer Noam Matan Rotem, who is known for his previous title, Forgiveness.
Here’s the reveal trailer!
The official description reads:
In Luciform, a family of mythical creatures has been captured by the Red-Eyed Gorilla. To regain their freedom, they pool their energy together to summon Luci – the one individual who can rescue them. Thanks to a unique gift, Luci has the ability to change colors at will!
The upcoming game will test your “quick reflexes and nerves of steel”. You will need to time your jumps with complete precision.
“From a very young age, I’ve always loved video games. I first started programming because I wanted to make silly mods and add-ons for games that my friends and I used to play together. It gave me a taste for what was possible in game development. After my first game, Forgiveness, received a warm welcome from the press and players alike, I decided to go back to my original game concept – this time pursuing innovation instead of a more established genre. Luciform is the end result,” shared Noam Matan Rotem (Founder, Chaos Minds).
The Key Features include:
- Playing as Luci, a mythical creature with the ability to change colors at will.
- Traversing the forest while avoiding hazards and deadly falls.
- Timing each jump carefully because you won’t be able to slow down! (It’s making me anxious already!)
- Choosing wisely – since you interact with the same colored platforms.
The controls will be straightforward. So, at least, that’s something.
Luciform is expected to arrive on Steam in Q1 2021. Pricing is yet to be determined. If you want to support this new indie game going into 2021, you can wishlist it on Steam right now.
As for Chaos Minds, Noam Matan Rotem founded it in 2019. It’s headquartered in Haifa, Israel. You can visit the official website for more details.
