She Ra and the Princesses of Power Beginner’s Guide
So you want to get into She Ra and the Princesses of Power, but you don’t know how. You should probably start on Netflix with episode one, but you can also take a look at this handy guide.
SHE RA
This is She Ra. She’s a legendary eight foot-tall princess warrior with the power to be super gay. Her hair is fabulous, her muscles are great, and she will protect the ever loving lesbian out of you.
ADORA
It’s right there in her name: this Horde defector is adorable. Great ponytail. UST (unresolved sexual tension) with every princess and cat-girl in Eternia. Will die for her friends. Is desperately afraid the opposite will happen.
CATRA
She don’t protecc, she just attacc, and she will never ever forgive you for leaving her pack. Twitchy ears. Expressive tail. Deep aversion to heterosexuality. How can you not love this villain? She and Adora have the wlw lovers-to-enemies storyline we’ve been starving for.
GLIMMER
Fabulous inside and out, regardless of her intense insecurities. Will fight anyone at a moment’s notice. Teenagers are the same whether they have glitter light powers or not.
BOW
The softest, gentlest, most wonderful boy. Looks better in a crop top than Ezekiel Elliott. The nerd/jock combo of our dreams. More competent than most bisexuals.
SHADOW WEAVER
The best hair outside of She Ra’s. Insecure about her acne. For someone with such an evil name, evil design, and evil evilness, she’s maybe heading in the direction of a redemption arc.
PERFUMA
Smells the worst of all the princesses. Elle Woods level confidence in her femininity and ability to destroy you from the inside out.
MERMISTA
Defies all mermaid stereotypes. Done with everything. Secretly the most emotional of all the princesses.
ENTRAPTA
Sweet, autistic, underappreciated technowizard. Holtzmann from Ghostbusters‘ long lost little sister. Is she good? Is she evil? Does she love her robots like people? Yes.
SEAHAWK
Voted “Most likely to put on a one-man Gilbert & Sullivan production.” Jason Mendoza from The Good Place‘s long lost little brother.
ANGELLA
Queen of fabulous capes. Not a regular mom, a cool mom. Moms are the same whether they they are immortal magic warriors of moonlight or not.
SCORPIA
Brienne of Tarth meets Steven Quartz Universe. We love her. She loves us.
SPINERELLA
Gay.
NETOSSA
Gayer.
FROSTA
Somehow smaller and angrier than Glimmer.
SWIFT WIND
The William Wallace of horses.
MADAME RAZZ
Still hung up on her ex girlfriend who died a thousand years ago. What a legend.
HORDAK
He’s mean, but he does seem to love his weird monster baby.
