Episode two of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Chapter will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch on September 25, 2018. The trailer for the upcoming second episode, which is titled ‘Suffer the Children,’ has got me even more excited than I was for the current season. If you have been playing since the first season, you will know what I’m talking about.
The trailer for the second episode was released by Telltale Games together with Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment. The second episode is titled ‘Suffer the Children,’ and it will be available for you to play (via download) on September 25, 2018, for PC, Xbox One, PC, Xbox One, and the Switch for $19.99 SRP.
If you purchase the digital season pass, you will receive download access to each of the season’s four episodes as they become available. The season pass disc for the PS4 and Xbox One will be up for grabs (online and at retailers) for $29.99 SRP starting November 6, 2018. A separate retail cartridge for the Nintendo Switch will also become available at a later date.
Here’s the synopsis for ‘Suffer the Children’:
A single shot rang out, and in that moment, everything changed. Now Clementine’s chance for a home may already be lost, and her bond with AJ may never be the same. With their future suddenly poisoned by uncertainty, Clem must work to manage the fallout and salvage their situation. But a force more relentless than the dead is lurking in the woods, and a ghost from Clementine’s past will soon return to threaten her future…
Here’s the description for the final season:
Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.
Check out the trailer! It is so good! I knew she was alive!
The current season has the over-the-shoulder camera system which helps make the gameplay feel more entertaining. Having played the first episode, the new gameplay system does make it feel more modern. The graphics have also improved.
