Batman – The Telltale Series is now available for purchase as a physical disc from retailers. Not only that, new screenshots from Episode 2: ‘Children of Gotham’ have also been released!

We announced the release date for Batman – The Telltale Series Episode 2: ‘Children of Gotham’ a few weeks back. Now Telltale has released an exciting set of screenshots from the upcoming episode. I really enjoyed playing Episode 1: ‘Realm of Shadows’ and I can’t wait to play ‘Children of Gotham’ when it comes out on September 20, 2016.

The current series is now available as a physical disc in North America. The disc retails for $29.99 US. It includes a ‘Season Pass Disc’ which has the first of the five-episode series. As the rest of the episodes become available they can be downloaded via online updates. The disc will be available in Europe on the 16th of September 2016.

“Since premiering BATMAN – The Telltale Series last month, we’ve been thrilled by the reception from both BATMAN fans new to Telltale, and those already familiar with our model for interactive storytelling,” said Kevin Bruner, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games. “This week, we’re happy to offer the game on a special disc at retailers worldwide, just in time for the gripping second episode launching September 20, which will influence the course of the season depending on the different paths players may take.”

For those of you who haven’t yet played the series, you can download the first episode ‘Realm of Shadows’ on the PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services. You can get it on the PlayStation Network for PS4 and PS3; and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One and Xbox 360. It will be made available later this month for iOS and Android devices.
