“Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall” RPG Reveals Details About Daenerys Targaryen & Jon Snow!
Behaviour Interactive, GAEA, and HBO have revealed that their upcoming strategy RPG Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall will feature multiple character versions of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. In the game, players can recruit both IP characters for a variety of gameplay modes. The RPG is scheduled to launch sometime this year.
Having Daenerys and Jon be part of the upcoming game is sure to excite fans of the show. Players can “actively use and command” different in-game versions of Daenerys Targaryen and John Snow, each with distinct skills and abilities.
Plans are confirmed to roll out additional versions of the characters as well as other characters such as Jaime Lannister, Tormund Giantsbane and Melisandre through updates following the game’s launch.
Let’s go over what Daenerys can do in Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall.
Two versions of Daenerys Targaryen will be available to players at launch: Lady of Dragonstone and Breaker of Chains.
- As Lady of Dragonstone, Daenerys Targaryen is a skillful ruler who can summon her dragon, Drogon, to burn enemies with an area of effect damage.
- As Breaker of Chains, she is a powerful leader who can heal allies, increase ally damage, and manipulate the battlefield.
At the time of launch, two versions of Jon Snow will be available to players: Old Bear’s Steward and King in the North.
- As Old Bear’s Steward, Jon Snow is a rounded warrior who can also heal allies and enhance their attacks.
- As King in the North, he is a versatile and crafty commander who deals devastating blows and improves ally mobility and damage.
In the upcoming Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall, players will get to experience an original story and command a castle of the Night’s Watch to defend Westeros.
Even though familiar characters will be added, the game’s original narrative is set a few decades before the timeline of the hit TV show.
As reported earlier, the game’s story picks up “just after Lord Commander Brynden Rivers (also known as Bloodraven and eventually as the Three-Eyed Raven), disappeared while ranging beyond the Wall.”
Players will “also find an in-game interface that uses the mysterious powers of the Weirwood Trees to move through history and visit key moments in time.”
The time-traveling aspect allows players to “collect different costumed versions of Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Jaime Lannister, Melisandre and Tormund Giantsbane across various game events and then use the characters in many gameplay modes, including combat – a first for a game in this genre.”
As mentioned, the title is scheduled to launch in 2019 on Google Play and the App Store.
