The colorful and action-filled LEGO Party! has launched with 60 minigames to ensure group fun with family and friends.

From developer SMG Studio, the LEGO Group, and Fictions, LEGO Party! is currently available on Steam (PC), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Yeah, this game is basically everywhere! Frankly, I’m not a fan of staggered releases. So, I’m here for the wide release of video games, especially titles meant for a multiplayer experience.

Take note that a physical Retail Edition of LEGO Party! is also available. You can get it from participating retailers as well as at https://legoparty.iam8bit.com.

From checking out some of the online shops, the title currently has a 10% discount on Steam, dropping the price from the intended $51.99 CAD to $46.79 CAD. The promotional offer will end on October 14, 2025.

The Nintendo Switch version is showing me $35.99 with a 10% discount. The physical release will cost me $44.99 via GameStop.

Players who were able to pre-order the Retail Edition will receive a download code for five unique LEGO Minifigures. Lucky!

Coming to the gameplay, LEGO Party! is your standard multiplayer romp that features numerous minigames for 1 to 4 players. Characters can be customized. Once you are happy with your selection, you can play through LEGO-themed Challenge Zones, which include Ninjango, Pirate, Space, and Theme Park.

The goal is to be the player with the most Golden Bricks. Of course, the gameplay mechanic include power-ups and the ability to set traps for your opponents. You can enjoy Local and Online multiplayer game modes.

I did enjoy the comedic take with the trailer having a pair of Minifigures offering commentary. The minigames seem to involve a lot of racing, platforming, and hitting certain objects. Again, your usual multiplayer party game romp, but with a LEGO skin. From what I have seen, the title has been warmly received by players. So, that’s good.
