Wild River Games has launched Schleich Dinosaurs: Mission Dino Camp on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Your objectives include protecting numerous dinos before a volcanic eruption and more!

Based on popular Schleich children’s toys, Dinosaurs: Mission Dino Camp is meant for players aged 7 and up. You will play as the character named Jack to complete a variety of missions. The game is supposed to offer you a large map to explore. Along with interacting with a range of dinosaurs living in the jungle, you will also discover forgotten temples and learn about a mysterious ancient civilization.

The game’s mechanics involve traveling on foot as well as driving Team Dino vehicles such as a jeep and a quad bike. The gameplay also features puzzles as you try to figure out ways to get to particular destinations. Some of the puzzles include rebuilding a bridge and completing a dino skeleton.

When it comes to interacting with the dinos, you do have a stun gun and tranquilizer to bring them down. You are supposed to get them ready to be transported to the Team Dino base. From what I could tell from the trailer, sneaking is encouraged as you try to target carnivorous dinos before they attack you.

You will also need to gather plants and other ingredients to heal dinosaurs. The gameplay includes baby dinos, too. You will need to protect them from various threats.

Here’s the fun trailer!

We are proud to bring the popular schleich DINOSAURS to gamers around the world,” said Ralf Gronwald, CEO at Wild River Games GmbH. “The Schleich brand is very well known in Europe and North America and we know they are going to have a blast playing digital versions of their favorite toys!”

According to Pia Flohr, Head of Licensing and Brand Partnerships Schleich GmbH, fans will be thrilled to see many of popular sets and figurines appear in the game.

Developed by ActaLogic, Dinosaurs: Mission Dino Camp has an ESRB of ‘E’. It is currently available at retailers and to download on the Nintendo Switch for $39.99 USD and on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 for $29.99 USD. You can download it on the PC for $24.99 USD.
