Fans of the highly enjoyable It – Welcome to Derry can look forward to owning the complete first season when it hits physical home release come May 5, 2026. The upcoming release includes a Limited Edition Steelbook 4K UHD version, Blu-ray, and DVD.
From Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, It – Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season home release will have all 8 episodes along with bonus content, such as 3 extended behind-the-episode featurettes as well as an all-new, never-before-seen featurette that will be exclusive to the physical versions.
Take note that you can own the entire season on Digital right now via Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, Fandango at Home, and more.
Debuting on October 26, 2025, It – Welcome to Derry has been developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs. The live-action series serves as a prequel to the It – Chapter One and It – Chapter Two movies.
Taking viewers back to 1962, the narrative delves into Pennywise terrorizing the town of Derry during that time. While the creature works toward causing a huge tragedy before going back to sleep again for 27 years, things get out of hand due to military intervention wanting to use the cosmic creature as a powerful weapon.
Linking to the movies, the story has Will Hanlon and his parents play major roles. Not only that, but in a surprising move, the narrative also involves Dick Hallorann, who quickly became a fan-favorite. And though we know what becomes of Pennywise in the movies, it’s still fun to watch him cause a whole lot of trouble. Another strength of the show is how it doesn’t shy away from the blood and gore that fans expect from such an IP.
The cast includes Taylour Paige as Charlotte Hanlon, Jovan Adepo as Leroy Hanlon, James Remar as Francis Shaw, Stephen Rider as Hank Grogan, and Chris Chalk as Dick Hallorann. The kids include Matilda Lawler as Marge Truman, Amanda Christine as Veronica “Ronnie” Grogan, Clara Stack as Lillian “Lilly” Bainbridge, Blake Cameron James as Will Hanlon, and Arian S. Cartaya as Rich Santos. And of course, Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as the iconic Pennywise.
The finale aired on December 14, 2025, and I hope we get news about a season two renewal ASAP. In my opinion, It – Welcome to Derry has easily cemented itself as one of the rare horror shows that remained enjoyable throughout.

As for the exclusive never-before-seen featurette, it’s called ‘Fear the Other’. It explores the societal dynamics of 1962 Derry, Jim Crow, the Red Scare, and government involvement on Indigenous lands.
The 4K UHD Limited Edition Steelbook also includes 6 collectible “1962 Derry themed” postcards.
The Audio is English with English SDH Subtitles. The Running Time is approximately 8 hours and 30 minutes, including the bonus content. The show is rated TV-MA.
Have you watched It – Welcome to Derry season one? Are you excited about owning the home release versions on May 5, 2026?
