“Say No! More” Currently Available For Nintendo Switch, Steam and iOS!

Are you someone who experiences trouble when saying “NO!” to someone? Well, the indie game Say No! More might help you with that. From Thunderful Publishing and Studio Fizbin, Say No! More can be currently bought on the Nintendo Switch, Steam, and iOS.

The Steam version of Say No! More can be yours for £13.49/€14.99/$14.99 (prices may vary depending on territory), and on iPadOS and iOS for £5.99/€6.99/$5.99 (A 50% discount is applied to the game on the App Store when purchasing 20+ units or more through the Apple School Manager).

This indie game title has been promoted as the world’s first NPG (NO!-Playing Game). It wants to offer something different in a society where saying “Yes” has become the status quo. After creating a custom character, you will get to play as an intern who aims to change the world for the better by using the positive power of saying “NO!”. 

The gameplay includes being able to say “NO!” in different languages. You can also confuse people with a variety of actions to let their guard down and then charge up your power for an even greater effect.

The team behind the game wants to touch on relevant issues including social etiquette, friendship, and workplace standards with a sense of humor and depth. I mean, all of us have been in situations, especially in professional settings, where saying “NO!” feels like you’re being rude or making a mistake. Hopefully, Say No! More can help certain people stand up for themselves or offer them some kind of an outlet.

“Say No! More is more than a funny arcade game; it’s a way of life,” said Marius Winter, Game Director at Studio Fizbin. “Many of life’s challenges can be mitigated by staying true to yourself and properly expressing your feelings. This isn’t necessarily how we’re socialized, so we wanted to make a game that harnesses the power of “No!” in an outlandish, comical way. Say No! More may be a funny game, but it’s an exploration of a universal truth about sticking up for ourselves.”

More is an absolute power fantasy without the need for superpowers or world-saving quests,” shared Dieter Schoeller, Head of Publishing at Thunderful. “Instead, your superpower is self-respect – something that we can all attain in our day-to-day lives. It’s an absolute riot about speaking truth to power. What more could you ask for in a game?”

As for Studio Fizbin, it is a German independent games studio in Ludwigsburg and Berlin. It was founded by Sebastian Mittag, Alexander Pieper, and Mareike Ottrand. The studio wants to create titles that offer something unique to help drive a positive change in players.
