“The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier” Gets Extended Look & Two-Episode Premiere!

An extended first look at the upcoming The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier has been released. Season 3 of the popular game series will debut with a two-episode premiere on 20^th December 2016.

The extended look was revealed at The Game Awards. The clip showcases Javier, a new main character in the series. We get to see the beginning of the zombie apocalypse and what it did to him and his family. The plot includes a time skip and we see Javier meeting Clementine.

The first two episodes of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier will debut worldwide on 20^th December 2016. It will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android devices. Players will also be able to buy a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ on 14^th February 2017. The disc will be available for PS4 and Xbox One. The disc will contain the premiere episode. Subsequent episodes can be downloaded as they become available.

Furthermore, Season 3 can also be pre-ordered. The pre-ordered PS4 version includes free copies of The Walking Dead: Season Two and the Michonne mini-series. The pre-ordered Steam version will give you a 10% discount on the retail price.

Here’s the synopsis:

When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to protect his family, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last.

It is expected that the series will get a ‘M’ (Mature) rating from the ESRB.
